Use of funds

To date, the appeal has funded:

• purchase of a minibus for use by young people at The Terraces (CAMHS)
• building of a new play area at The Terraces (CAMHS)
• planning of an extension at Scott Hospital (CDC)

The minibus enables groups of young people to be taken out on day trips from The Terraces.  This makes a massive difference to thier treatment and assessment of progress by staff.

The new play area allows the children to practice football, basketball and netball.  It also gives the children a safe space in which to practice balancing and co-ordination.

The extension at Scott Hospital will include a "quiet room" for use by parents when they are visiting the centre with their children.
